    Rick Owens Injects His Grungy Influences Into Birkenstock

    Fashion designer Rick Owens is known for his dark and rebellious approach to his collections. Mr Owens has taken this approach with his collaboration with German footwear brand, Birkenstock.

    He has taken their staple silhouettes and injected his signature grunge aesthetic into them. Birkenstock’s Arizona sandal and Boston clog have been crafted with tactile materials like wool felt, cow fur, and suede.

    The lookbook, which see models clad in Mr Owen’s clothing, showcases the footwear expressed in its final form.
