Ian Fleming’s Sunspel Capsule Collection52.8984° N, 1.2698° W
"Grown in the Caribbean, Sea Island cotton accounts for only 0.0004% of the world’s cotton supply making it one of the rarest cottons"
The man behind the timeless James Bond novels and films was author, Ian Fleming. Much like the fantastical character Mr. Fleming created, he was also considered to be a sharp dresser. Throughout his lifetime, he always exhibited an acquired taste for brands of quality that are synonymous with timeless British style.
In fact, the English menswear brand Sunspel was one of Mr. Fleming’s personal favourites. He especially wore their Sea Island cotton pieces during his retreats in Jamaica, where he wrote most of the Bond books.
This season, Sunspel has partnered with The Ian Fleming Estate to create a collection that borrows elements from classic resort-wear. This understated lineup includes camp collar shirts, classic crew neck tees, and luxurious knitwear. All of which have been crafted from the rare cotton.
The Ian Fleming Collection retails for $145.00-$295.00, check out in its entirety at Sunspel and let us know which piece you like the most.
