This past Friday I touched down in Atlanta for what was supposed to be an amazing weekend with all my homies. I was an invited guest of the honorable DJ Greg Street, who invited me down to be a part of his annual Sneaker Friends event at the Compound. If you recall a little video was made of yours truly as a teaser. I broke out some fine sneakers for this trip that had never seen the light of day. I started off my day with these Converse x UNDFTD Weapons in Olive, which are just nasty.
I walked what felt like 100 miles to get to the baggage claim & ground transportation. The beauty of this walk was the paintings, sculptures and architecture. Everything was so Afrocentric which I loved!
You know what song kept playing in my head as I walked trough the airport? Welcome to Atlanta by Ludacris and them. Does this happen to you when you touch down in the A?
After walking 100 miles and a few trains later….I finally made it to ground transport to meet my driver.
My Sneaker Friend Driver suggested I get some Soul food while we waited for the next pick up. I went to a place called Parshalls in the food court and chowed down on some bbq chicken and corn.
The next guest finally showed up about 30 min later and it was the 1 and only homie Clark Kent….
Let this trip begin!
