It was a mild day in February and we all met up in Miami to take a flight to the Dominican Republic to work with Sebago. I remember it like it was yesterday! Some of us were meeting each other for the first time. We landed in DR and we were escorted to the Wolverine offices and factory which is the home of Sebago.
The hospitality started the minute we walked trough the door.
They presented us with our name plates, used for embossing into our shoes.
I was deciding between two logos at the time.
They presented us with a handmade custom calendar. This thing is dope!!
We got a chance to see some product while they were in production. Check out the Vane 3M boat shoe that released earlier this year.
The guys hard at work!
I don’t even want to talk about this homemade lunch, it was so amazing! You can taste every flavor and every spice.
After lunch I had to get to work! I was being supervised as I punched holes into the leather, this machine can take out your eye.
They brought in tanneries from all over the country to show us fantastic leathers.
The homie Joshua Kissa hard at work packing the shoe boxes. It is not as easy as you think.
Jake Davis behind the camera.
The trip was incredible. I have so much more things to share with you guys. Stay tuned.
