Our #travelwithus journey took us to a Silk & Umbrella factory in the fashion district. The first stop was for a famous thailand dish at The Art of noodles.

These spicy rolls were so delicious.

This noodle soup is everything you can imagine. You dress it up yourself with all this goodness and voila you are eating as authentic as you can in Thailand.

As you enter the silk factory they bless you with a silk pin.

These are the worms that they use to make silk. This process is so amazing to witness.

After they are done, the women start to make the silk on these old machines.

These Thai women work so hard to produce goods for the people. I regret not picking up som umbrellas for merely a few dollars. This was a great experience to witness the handmaking of silk and umbrellas.
