On the constant hunt to find the best West Indian food spot in North America, I came across Miss Lily’s in New York city. I was told about this place from my people over at Team Epiphany. This past week my brother and I stopped in for some oxtail and some jerk chicken wings. I saw some folks from Anamoly in the spot grabbing a bite, so I figured it had to be good.

The Jerk chicken wings were out of this world. Extremely spicy and very tasty. I was ashamed that I felt that they were a bit too hot for me. I think oxtail is the great denominator for me when I’m judging a west indian spot. The meat was soft and kind of melted in your mouth. I do however prefer my oxtail a bit sweet but I sure enjoyed the difference.

The services was amazing and the waitresses were super on point. Lately I’ve been know to check out the bathroom in every establishment that I frequent. The bathrooms smelt great and they looked really cool with old 45 record covers on repeat print!
