Yesterday I got blessed with the Oakley x Koston capsule collection, which includes a pair of really nice woodgrain Frogskins, a ballistic nylon backpack and the military inspired daypack. This is all part of the Koston x Oakley series that launched in Japan a few weeks back. This collection was created for guys on-the-go!
The Frogskins look like a dark wood grain and have this raw feel to them, which I like a lot.
The ballistic backpack is pretty awesome, it has a removable pouch which is perfect, if you just want to grab your camera that you snuck into there. I love when a bag features multiple compartments to pack everything you need. It also has a laptop sleeve and a synthetic leather bottom which is a nice touch.
The military inspired daypack has to be my favorite items right now! It is in military green which I’m always a fan of, it fits my G9 and my 13 inch Mac perfect. A draw string closure and a flap made from high quality canvas with tumbled leather. Apparently this bag only went out to a few number of people, so it might be a bit hard to get your hands on one, so be on the lookout.
All the bags, just like the Oakley Frogskin feature this collection’s signature wood grain print; also, both the glasses and backpack are adorned with the special “EK” and Oakley logo to mark this collaboration.
