Last week I was invited to Toronto by my friends at Nike to participate in the launch of the Nike Fuel Bad. Moments after checking into my room at the Hyatt, a knock on the door from a nice lady holding a bucket of ICE presented me with the very limited ICE fuel band on ICE. What a great way to present such a special gift, oh and the very sexy ice bucket had my name engraved on it… Thanks NIKE. You really made my day.
The Nike+ Fuelband will be available starting October 31st at Nike Toronto and at Apple stores nationwide. $149 (CDN).
The event was very unique! How often can you get grouped into teams led by some of Nike’s elite athletes including P.K. Subban, Steven Stamkos, Tessa Bonhomme, Phylicia George & Priscilla Lopes-Schliep. Think about running a parkour course next to your favorite athlete. Very dope! Everyone played for charity and the purse was 10K going to the athletes favorite charity.
