52.3885° N, 1.4919° W"The updated Defender will be built with a A 5.0-liter V-8 option (For the U.S) and diesel options for European models"
Land Rover is set to update their classic Defender SUV, whose origins date back to 1948. The automotive brand notes that the new version will be just as capable off-road vehicle and will look more attractive so that it can be driven daily.
This announcement comes as good news due to the increasingly stringent European regulations, which would lead to the old-school Defender disappearing from the road within the next couple of years. Land Rover needs a credible replacement for the vehicle that defines the brand’s off-road heritage and the Defender will certainly satisfy that.
The updated Defender will be built with a A 5.0-liter V-8 option (For the U.S) and diesel options for European models.
