    The other day I received a small bbm pic of a box with my name on it  and I got pretty excited! I had no idea what to expect. Well today the box showed up and some of you guys got to see me open it for the  first time today.  The packaging blew me away. I mean to really take the time to find the perfect box for the perfect boot I mean…

    I’m humbled to be 1 of 9 people to receive this special package from Timberland. These classic 6″ Premium waterproof work boot with anti-fatigue technology will only be released in September.

    We received this custom/personalized Timberland wooden box made by Good Wood Nyc and a pair of the Classic 10061’s (original style number) also known as Timbs, aka Construction Timbs or Timbos, aka Constructs aka Timberland Classic work boot.

    The boots have a few new updates that you won’t find on the originals that I think you will love! For 1 the Anti-Fatigue technology and the flexible forefoot construction for added comfort.

    I’ve been wearing wheat Timbs for as long as I can remember and I am happy to have another fresh pair with this new technology.

    The technology is patterned after the floor mats used to prevent fatigue in industrial workspaces where people spend most of their day standing or walking.

    I blogged back in 2009 that the classic Timb was going to make a big comeback and since then we’ve seen everyone from Kanye to Wayne sporting them around giving life back to a classic. A picture of me rocking a fresh pair even made it all the way to Zurich.

    Happy to see its return to retail with this new technology.
