"The 2019 Camaro’s updated designs are not only striking but also help to improve performance"

For 2019, Chevrolet has taken the bold approach by introducing a bevy of updates into their iconic Camaro. For starters, they have introduced a Turbo 1LE variant, whose 275-horsepower turbocharged engine utilizes a six-speed manual transmission and a track ready suspension. The Turbo 1LE accompanies the V6 1LE, SS 1LE and ZL1 1LE to complete the Camaro’s lineup.

When it comes to the Camaro’s exterior stylings, the most prominent is the front end. The grille, hood, and side vents have been optimized for better airflow, to cool the engine, and to improve overall performance. What’s interesting to note is that across the different Camaro trims, you will notice distinct differences between the LS/LT, RS and SS. Another big change is the return of the quad tail lights, a design cue that has always been a part of the Camaro.

The SS is built with a 6.2L LT1 direct-injected Small Block V-8 rated at 455-horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. The upcoming SS is offered with the 10-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission and an new 20-inch wheel design.

When it comes to tech, the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro comes with the automaker’s latest infotainment system that is designed to offer the same functionality of our smartphones. A 7.0-inch touchscreen comes standard, while an upgraded 8.0-inch touchscreen is available with an onboard navigation. Additional features include a Rear Camera Mirror will come standard on 2SS and ZL1 models, as well as a front collision warning system that is present across all trims.

The 2019 Chevrolet Camaro is expected to be released later this year.

    Stayed tuned for more.
