Winter has yet to touch the landscape of Montana but it still served as the perfect backdrop for the mezmerizing experience we had with Canada Goose. It was there where we had the opportunity to take a look and wear pieces from their latest collections, as well as the highly anticipated Pendleton Woolen Mills collaboration. Throughout the trip, we changed into their iconic parkas, bomber jackets, and lightweight coats, all of which kept us warm as we explored the landscape before us.

Our home base for this trip was at Paws Up, a 37,000 acre working Montana ranch. The rolling pastures of are home to Elk and Black Angus cattle, who have been taken care of by the Lipson family for over thirteen years.

A great feature of the ranch is its focus on offering a luxurious experience from the accommodations to the amenities, which include flat-screen TVs, wireless internet, in-home laundry, heated bathroom floors, rain showers, organic spa products and hot tubs. Moreover, they offer a gourmet focused menu, along with spa treatments and services personalized to your liking. In terms of lodging, you’ll be able to stay in a private home or you can choose to go “glamping” in a luxury tent.

They also organize authentic dude ranch activities like trail riding chuck wagons and cattle drives. If you want to experience more of the wilderness, you can spend your time fly-fishing, ATV riding, whitewater rafting, or rappel off the cliffs that explorers Lewis and Clark have passed through. One of favourite activities was the sporting clays shooting! We also hopped on a hot air balloon and surveyed the great Montana landscape with our cameras. The yellow and green fields of the farm lands and the hills left a permanent imprint in our minds.
