The adidas NMD was designed in homage to the three different running shoes that defined the footwear brand in the 1980s: the Micropacer, the Rising Star, and the Boston Super. The main highlights of the NMD is a lightweight Boost midsole and Primeknit upper. Moreover, the were aimed to be worn as a lifestyle sneaker instead of performance. Our favourite iteration of the NMD so far is the sock like sneaker you see above. It features a mid-top silhouette and the Primeknit upper is stripped of laces, opting for a sock-like fit secured with an elasticated collar. Finally, a full-length Boost midsole will provide your feet with all-day comfort and cushioning.
