Its robust exterior makes it a go to for excursions. With this latest MR-G ‘Hammer Tone’, they have up the ante with the most upscale model to date. The timepiece is shock-resistant, solar-powered, water-resistant to 200m, and is built with a GPS world clock.

The hefty price tag can also be attributed to its construction, as the piece is adorned with tsuiki decoration on the bezel, a method that is used on the hand guards of Japanese swords. For this, Casio has worked with third-generation master metalworker Bihou Asano, who has created hammered metal statues of deities, as well as incense burners, for the Kyoto State Guest House.

    $6,200.

Limited to 300 pieces and it will be available at select high-end retailers this coming July.
