    They have created the Traveler Sportcoat for HODINKEE, a renowned wristwatch online magazine. The piece was created out of necessity from the HODINKEE team for a way to discreetly carry a second watch to collector events and functions. The piece is constructed from a 7.5 oz. 100% worsted cashmere from Lanificio di Pray in Sandigliano, Vercelli, Italy.

    The sportcoat has a sensible and inconspicuous reinforced pocket inside that can hold at least one watch inside the left chest of the coat. The beauty of the pocket is that it does not compromise the fit and drape of the fabric. This elegant solution solves a common issue in the niche world of timepieces, allowing watch collectors to share their favourites with ease.

    Besides the discreet inner pocket, we love the fit and cut of the piece, it would look good in any occasion. We especially love the choice of navy blue!

    • The fit is based on the Freeman sportcoat, which has front pinch darts for a tailored fit

    • Hand-cut oxhorn buttons that are specifically designed with 6 holes to form and “H” for “HODINKEE”
    • Each one is authenticated with a number under the collar
    • Sleeves, buttonholes, and 1/16 pick stitching on the lapel are all done by hand
