I was in LA last week on some business and I stayed at the Andaz Hotel on Sunset Boulevard. The hotel is part of the HYATT chain and they have been open since September 09. The service of this hotel blew me away! This is going to be my go to hotel whenever I am in LA. I am going to tell you 5 reasons why you have to stay here when you hit LA.

A few key points:

1. There is no check in desk! The minute you roll they offer you complimentary Wine, Tea, Coffee, Cappuccino or water.

2. The host comes over to the “Lounge Area” where he placed you and brings you your wine and check you in with his laptop as you guys sit down and chat about where you are coming in from.

3. The host escorts you up to your room and shows you around your room.

4. Everything in the room is free except the alcohol! The chips, snacks, waters and soft drinks. Oh yeah, everything is replenished daily.

5. They serve complimentary fresh croissants and chocolatines (chocolate croissants) tea and coffee every morning. At lunch they serve free fruit and wine in the lounge area. You can get drinks at the lounge for free 24/hrs.

This is the lounge area, where people just hang out all day.

All the keys are magnetic and you just have to slide it in front of your door or elevator to make it work.

The bed is incredible very comfortable and cozy.

Really dope shower head! I always pay attention to the shower heads some are just better than others.

The soaps and shampoos were great! You can tell a lot about a hotel by the type of products that they use.

Flat screen TV is the standard. Yes I was watching TMZ.

There is a little lounge area in your room where you can separate the room with a blind and have some privacy. There is a little TV in the lounge area. What a great touch!

Ipod ready dock.

I really like the long work stations.

A nice pool and view is unbelievable.

Style: New & Modern

Atmosphere: Chill Vibe

Staff: Super Polite and the customer service is A+

Average room price: $220/plus taxes

Rooms: Medium

Beds: Very Comfortable

This is probably 1 of my best hotel experiences!
