  • Reviews: Wythe Hotel Brooklyn Queen [Room 502] @wythehotel

Atmosphere: The Wythe hotel is established in a building that used to be a factory.

Staff: Energetic, polite and well dressed.

    Average room price: $395/plus taxes

    Wifi: Complimentary

Room: When you first walk into the 260 square feet, Brooklyn Queen room the first thing you will notice is the high ceilings, and the wonderful amount of natural light the arched windows let in. Plus, you wake up to a great view of Brooklyn. There are many different surfaces to this room, from the concrete floor, exposed brick walls, pine ceilings, and the delicate wallpaper. If the floor gets cold there is radiant floor heating. The finishing touches include LED HDTV, Goldie bath products, and a full service locally-sourced minibar.

Room Bonus: High-ceilings, concrete floors, along with a large mirror by the door. There is also a audio port by the bedroom wall that allows you to play music throughout your room.

View: Two large windows reveal a sweeping view of Williamsburg; to your right you will see McCarren park and to the left, you’ll spot the street leads right to Bedford Ave.

    Bed: Queen-size.

Lobby: The lobby maintains industrial elements with a few rustic touches. Large windows fill light up every inch of the space and the wooden front desk makes you feel like you are checking into a hotel that has been around for ages.

Restaurants: The Reynard is located on the bottom floor of the hotel. Their dinner menu is decided according to the locally fresh ingredients that are available for the day. But they have consistent items that remain on the menu; we recommend their grass-fed burger!

Bonus: The hotel is a step away from McCarren Park and Bushwick Inlet Pack by the East river. There are also pubs, lounges and restaurants that are dotted throughout the area – you’ll never have to head into Manhattan to have a good time.
