When I was in Toronto I visited the Serpentine boutique and I left feeling so inspired. Steve, the owner took us around his shop and broke down the inspiration, the vision, the ideas and shared his passion for his new baby. From my perception, Serpentine is inspired by bike culture, fashion, rebellion, and attitude. The people who shop and appreciate Serpentine have a certain taste level and are relieved to finally have a shop to cater to their needs. The owners of Serpentine have some very interesting plans for the future that I can’t wait to see come to fruition.

Steve travels the world to find brands that fit into his vision for the Toronto retail landscape, so brands such as Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester, Julius, Damir Doma and Guidi adorn the walls and tables. Serpentine has a remarkable jewelry collection for men and women and they carry denim from brands like 3sixteen and Prps. I was most impressed with the amazing bike helmet collection by Ruby. They also have a few exclusives like the  Wolverine 1000 mile boot collection  which is just incredible!

When you visit the shop you can ask for the homie Drew or speak with the owners Steve & Paul, tell them that I sent you!

Good Shopping!

    Save yourself a bad time.

Met one of the owners and he was a bit of a pretentious wanker. Went on a 5 minute rant instead of answering a yes/no question about a discount.

    Decent products, shit-eating service.

That’s the honest truth; I hope the owner knows that I didn’t go out looking to be berated.

Try DUE WEST and NEXT DOOR for more selection. 431 Queen St. W. 416-593-6267

Amazing store, by far the most fashion forward mens store in Toronto. I’ve heard about the store but never got the chance to go in until a week ago. The owner’s were beyond nice and helpful explaining everything about the store and concept.

Due West and Next Door are nothing compared to Serpentine, you can’t even compare the two, they cater to a different market.
