    Shortly after the much anticipated release of the Public School and Jordan brand’s extensive collection, PSNY has now collaborated with military jacket experts, Alpha Industries. The piece of choice is a reversible Ma-1 Blood Chit Flight Jacket but with a little Public School flair.

    This new twist on the iconic silhouette includes details like a removable shoulder strap, a “PSNY” velcro ID patch, along with an updated “Remove Before Flight” tag that says “We Need Leaders.” What makes this item unique to us is the removable patch that can be replaced by any velcro patch you may own, thus making the jacket unique to you. Another interesting detail to note is the lengthy shoulder strap that falls across the back. This is quite reminiscent of the recent menswear trend of extra-long belts that made an appearance at Spring/Sumer 2017 Fashion Week shows this year.

    Behind the jacket, you may have noticed the inclusion of “Fall/Winter 2017 Collection” embroidered below “PSNY.” This is another interesting detail that has become more common and we think that there will be more pieces like this in the near future.
