The beauty about this new development is that existing PS4 models are fully capable of handling the new experience that the new VR will bring. The device itself is built with a 5.7-inch 1080p OLED display that provides a 100-degree field of view with a 120Hz refresh rate. The only downside is that the headset is sold without the Move controllers and the bundle will most likely up the cost to a few dollars.
As we have seen so far from the trailers, the graphics of the games that will be playable with the VR look fantastic and we can’t wait until to try it out for ourselves! There are also fifty new titles that will ready to launch at the same time.
Check out the trailers for some of the VR-ready games we are excited for and look for the PlayStation VR to hit shelves come October 13.
