    Outerwear experts Penfield has collaborated with the sharp designers at Baartmans and Siegel to create an all-black collection of jackets. The three jackets have a subtle yet luxurious finish, keeping the emphasis on the classic Penfield silhouette.

    Hoosac – $800 – Penfield’s classic mountain parka has been combined with a premium breathable and water repellent soft-shell outer layer complemented with dye-to-match coyote fur trim. The 80/20 down fill provides warmth without bulk and a button down storm flap with inside 2-way zip ensures to keep the cold out. Finishing touches include tonal rubberized cord locks and buttons.

    Kasson – $400 -The Kasson is a Penfield original, it’s  versatile and durable mountain parka. For this collaboration the piece was given some added weight, which in turns improved durability. The premium soft-shell premium repels water yet is comfortable, breathable and ready for the elements. A raglan sleeve construction allows ease of movement through the arms and shoulders, which also means you can easily add layers underneath. The Kasson is finished off with embossed leather cord locks and rubberized branded snaps.

    Holgate – $1300 – This hunting jacket, like the Hoosac and Kasson, is constructed from a premium water repellent soft-shell outer layer. The exterior is complemented by a jet-black rabbit fur lining to provide comfort and added luxury. The finer details include hidden storage options in the front placket, such as concealed chest pocket and waist adjusters that you can access without sacrificing your warmth.

    Overall, we love the execution and attention to details the collaborators have put into creating this collection. We are definitely looking forward to experiencing the Winter in one of these jackets!
