Outlier takes the classic denim jacket to the 21st century by constructing it with a lighter material – they call it the Shank jacket.

Much like their Slim Dungarees, the jacket made from their Workcloth Doubleweave Canvas. It’s a material that is both tough and comfortable to wear. An innovative feature of the fabric is that it is weighs less, stain resistant and dries quick.

The outer comprises of a canvas weave combined with a dose of strong Cordura grade nylon fabric. While the inner face is a loosely woven nylon-poly blend that feels great against the skin.

We are fans of how the Shank jacket maintains the iconic aesthetic of the jean jacket but with an innovative twist.
