Every year as the holidays approach, Nespresso releases a series of limited edition capsules that embody the festive spirit of the season. For 2017, Nespresso released the Variations Confetto with capsules available for their Vertuoline and OriginalLine machines. There are three capsules for each and their flavours range from old favourites to surprisingly new tastes. Before you jump into exploring the collection, you should know that our favourite is the Snowball Confetto from their OriginalLine range. Nespresso has taken their medium roasted Livanto espresso and infused coconut and vanilla notes to create a decadent rendition.
If you’re expecting to host friends and family during the holidays, we recommend serving them a Vietnamese-inspired coffee using the Snowball Confetto capsule. We’ve already been preparing them for our guests at Cafe Troy and we’ll be doing the same for our loved ones at home. Vietnamese coffee is a drink that’s made with sweetened condensed milk and can be served either hot or cold. You would typically use a dark roast coffee, but the coconut flavour of Nespresso’s Snowball Confetto elevates the drink to a whole new level!
