John Elliott continues to evolve as a designer and his most recent showing at New York Fashion Week: Men’s has shown it. It was a Moroccan print beach towel that served as a starting point for his Spring 2017 collection. The results were soft silk shirt jackets, clean bombers, and T-shirts, all of which looked airy and light for the season ahead. immersed himself in the reflections, undulations and colors of water for his successful spring collection. And a Moroccan-printed beach towel was the starting point for his unique take on a new luxury. The pieces leaned more towards function without sacrificing the luxury that Elliott aimed for. The addition of colour into also showed a new side to the designer, while still maintaining his roots.
