  • News: Our Intel ISEF Experience – Phoenix #IntelISEF @intelisef

A few weeks ago, I received an invite to attend Intel ISEF in Phoenix, Arizona and I was blown away! Here’s a sample of the event and how I got to experience it:

The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) is an annual science competition for students between grades 9-12, the largest of its kind. Over 1,500 high school students from 70 countries across the globe showcase their independent research in all scientific fields, competing for $3 million in cash and prizes.

Science is amazing! They’ve created prosthetic limbs for animals who have been hurt or injured out in the wild. This guy right here was in a freak accident and is trying out the fit on his new tail. It is so inspiring being around so much talent and brains. I commend intel for shaping the future and giving these young minds a chance.

My Favorite exhibit of the intel ISEF was this invention that makes any surface a tablet.

    I captured it on vine.

I’m looking forward to showing you guys a video on this experience! If you ever have the opportunity to attend this event I highly recommend it. It is remarkable what these young people have come up with, all they need is a little guidance, funds an dmarketing and some of the world problems could be solved. Among the big winners this year were 19 year-old Ionut Budisteanu of Romania, who was awarded first place for creating a functional self-driving automobile for under $4000, Eesha Khare, 18, who developed a tiny device that supercharges cellphone batteries within in under 30 seconds and countless other ingenious prodigies who’ve renewed my love affair with science and inspire me in ways I could have never imagined. The future is looking bright!

Congratulations! Ionut Budisteanu of Romania wins 1st place at #IntelISEF http://intel.ly/10WfZ4M

See the best dressed after the jump!

In addition to being incredibly smart, some of these kids had some great personal style. Check out the best dressed kids from the INTEL ISEF.

Thanks to Intel for having me! It was such a great experience, looking forward to being there next year.
