    TOKYO —

    “Actress Riho Makise, 36, has married fashion designer Nigo, 37, after a four-year relationship, her agent said Tuesday. In an official comment, Makise said, “I would like us to have a peaceful life full of mutual respect.”

    Nigo, founder of clothing company A Bathing Ape (or BAPE), said in a statement: “Although she is a gorgeous actress, what impressed me the most was her homely personality.”

    The two said they don’t have any plans for a lavish wedding ceremony and party.”
