  • My Life: New York City- Day 1

    img_1255.JPG

I love New York City! I plan on moving here soon… The culture, the noise pollution and the girls all dressed up but wearing Jordans are just some of the reasons why I love the city.

I checked into one of my favorite hotels, The Night  that I’ve featured before, and then I boogied down to the Bape store on Green street to go meet Nigo, who was doing a book signing on the BAPE book for the 15th anniversary. (he will be in LA. tomorrow doing the same)

I actually walked from 45th all the way to Soho (took 40 mins) and people keep telling me that is so far walk, I don’t get it!? I love walking in NYC, I could walk a 100 blocks in a breeze, I’m just saying.

The lineup outside the Bape store was not that crazy, I popped into Y-3 real quick to see the homie William Yan.

I also met up with Malcolm and Zak from Garbege and Corner Store Hero.

We got our books and then we all went down to the Ralph Lauren Rugby Store (my favorite) shout out to Margot.

New York is on sale right now! I don’t really want to put all the brands on blast, but some of your favorite stores have crazy sales, anywhere from 20 to 70% off this seasons merchandise.

We stopped by the Louis Vuitton Store on 5th where Ye had his birthday party a few years ago. (best party I went to) The Takashi imagery and store dressing is unreal.

Shout out to the homie Alexander Allen who styles Takashi.

We all ended up heading over to the Kaws Exhibition at the  Gering & Lopez Gallery.

The artwork is pretty surreal, even Nigo seemed impressed, I wish I had room in my place for most of this stuff.

    Nigo never smiles!
