Day 2 was a big day, as some of our favourite artists were in town to perform. We started our day by checking out Brooklyn-based artist Leikeli47’s infectious performance, where she performed some of her hits including the fan favourite tune, ‘F**k The Summer Up’. Afterwards, we took a break at the Oakley lounge and headed over to the Artist World. There Chuck Hughes and Crown Salts were offering a finely catered experience for the artists and special guests. Next, we weathered through a thunderstorm while NaS rapped songs from albums Illmatic, Stillmatic, and more. The evening was capped off with the headliner, Kendrick Lamar, who delivered a diverse show with songs like ‘Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe’, ‘King Kunta’, and ‘Alright’. Furthermore, Yasiin Bay (Mos Def) was also present during the festival and came out to support NaS and Kendrick during their show. In its 10 years, we would have to say that this is the biggest show to date, and we expect it to get even bigger next year!
