  • Music: London Grammar “Wasting my young years” (N.D.M.A Remix)

London Grammar is a group that few may know but wait a few years and they are bound to be a house hold name among other emerging UK acts like James Blake, The XX, and Alana George just to name a few. The lead singer’s voice might lead some to draw a comparison between her and Adele.

Rising artist/producer Nilton De Menezes  also known as N.D.M.A put his spin on the single and created a version that still embodies the essence of the song while urging listeners to dance and live a little. Born in Angola and raised in Brazil before making his way to Canada. N.D.M.A has began to create some buzz for himself by blending electronic, hip hop, favela funk and African undertones to create a sound that is refreshing but still familiar at the same time.

Both of these acts are worth keeping an ear on in the coming months, watch the official video for London Grammar’s “Wasting my young years” below and stream N.D.M.A’s remix as well.
