MTTV: PAN SPEAKS A LITTLE ON INTERVIEWING
December 22nd, 2009
PAN SPEAKS A LITTLE ON INTERVIEWING from TONE on Vimeo.
I had the pleasure of meeting Pan while I was out in NYC a couple weeks ago and he was a mad cool cat…he recently spoke a bit about interviewing with TONE.
As a fellow journalist, I can definitely identify with this. It’s always weird to me to be a hip-hop expert, but then see people interview rappers and ask them fundamental questions.
But at the same time, I’m expanding my journalism scope now too, and going into the field of business. Those are new to me in terms of interviews, so I’ll be asking fundamental questions and knowing they’re wack, but I don’t know the key questions to ask yet. Guess it’s all part of the process, because I’m always learning.
Great Post Marcus.
Pan is a great individual in his field I had the perfect opportunity in including him in our ‘Genesis of Style’ video project with TONE. It’s great to see everyone is in the same circle and that he actually knew TONE before our video project.
What he is explaining here is the honest truth and is why I opt to reject a lot of interview opportunities. IT seems like the same circle of mill questions are asked which gets repetitive sometimes.
Great work to PAN & TONE keep up the good work.
