    Azealia Banks is a 19-year-old singer/rapper born and raised in Harlem, NY. At the age of 10, she began performing in off-Broadway musicals with the Tada! Youth Theater in Lower Manhattan. In 2005, Azealia enrolled at the F.H LaGuardia High School Of Music Art and Performing Arts as A Drama Major. Although her initial passions were for the stage and acting, she began rapping at the age of 16 at the beckon of her high school peers.
