Mahayatra “1971” Collection @mahayatrashop
The founder Neelesh Mistry says that 1971 was the year he began his forray into fashion and was inspired by his father’s wardrobe. He fondly remembers the times he used to rummage through his closet to find unique pieces to wear.
What he found was slim fitted suits and accessories in muted and earthy tones. It is those same tones that inspired the colour palette for the collection. The pieces are crafted from raw unfinished silk and donegal wool, which allow for tighter knots.
