  • Looks: Penfield S/S 2015 Editorial @PenfieldUSA

The materials used to craft their pieces are a fine mix of technical and traditional. There are times during the summer where the weather is inconsistent. It can be terribly cold or uncomfortably hot, and it could rain on top off that! For this casual editorial we decided that the looks will be prepared for both.

Their Grafton shorts, as seen in a polka dot and seersucker pattern above, are made from a pre-washed cotton that is soft and breathable, which makes it perfect for warm weather. Meanwhile, the tops consists of sleeved shirting that wears casually but still looks sharp. We chose the Badan shirt because the mixed size of the gingham pattern reminded us a lot of the Japanese playful way of dressing. Further, when it’s thrown under the Brookport sweater, it looks really smart. Finally, the Rochester rain jacket is a great lightweight rain jacket that features a breathable shell and an adjustable hem cinch to keep the wind out.

    Notable pieces:

    Badan Shirt
