Looks: Fred Perry Spring/Summer 2014 Bradley Wiggins Collection @fredperry
Renowned British fashion brand Fred Perry and one of the most successful British sportsmen of all time, Bradley Wiggins – collaborate for the fifth time to create a tasteful and dapper Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
Taking cue from the cyclist’s mod aesthetics, styles are kept sharp, simple and classic. Fine gauge merino knits cut with 1960s style necklines, pique shirts offset with contrast panel details, zip through cardigans with raglan sleeves. The silhouettes are kept slim and shirts are cut slightly long.
Bradley Wiggins has been involved in each and every step of the design process; the attention to detail speaks for itself.
In 2012, the London born champion cyclist was awarded a knighthood in recognition for his major sporting achievements. A lifelong Fred Perry fan, Bradley’s acute sense of style on and off the bike has gained him global recognition outside of his sporting accolades.
Wiggins says reminiscently “I go back a long way with Fred Perry. I bought my first Fred Perry shirt when I was a kid and it’s gone from there. It is great to have your own range with your name on the label and to be a part of the history of this great British brand.”
The collection is available now in all Fred Perry Authentic shops and online at Fred Perry.
