His work is remarkably edgy, and a boldness was exhibited through its composition and colour. Basquiat paintings also reflected his social commentary on political institutions and inequality.

    KOMONO are creators of accessories that to aim juxtapose classic and contemporary styles. Their pieces are both design-savvy and fashionable, minimalistic in its approach but colourfully executed.

    The combination of Basquiat’s artwork and Komono’s approach to accessories is a perfect match. The collaborators have created 6 watch styles utilizing some the artist’s most reputable works.

    We love the contrast between the clean, minimalistic face and the use of Basquiat’s artwork exhibited on the band.
