"Anders is slowly but surely becoming a rising force in Toronto's R&B scene"

Within the last decade, Toronto’s music scene has attracted ears globally. Following the mega successes of artists like Drake, The Weeknd, PartyNextDoor, and Tory Lanez, a few, newer artists have emerged. All are hoping to reach the same heights as those that came before them. It would seem, now, that there is only a matter of time until these aspiring songsters and rappers percolate and break the seal once more.

One of those seeking to climb the top of the CN tower is a young R&B crooner named Anders. His sound is reminiscent of Trap Soul but it isn’t quite as lo-fi and sonically, he borders The Weeknd’s territory at times.

However, there is still something distinct about Anders. It is as if he has been here before. Anders has a unique opportunity to pave his own lane within Toronto’s soundscape. His delivery on his last project, 669, was effortless and it carried over into his latest EP, TWOs. It brings back much of the woozy bounce and melodic undertones that he has embraced as his sound.
