Footwear: First Look- Timberland Newmarket 1973

I want to introduce you guys to a new collection from the Timberland boot company named the Newmarket. This boot pictured above is the Newmarket 9 Eye boot from this new collection. This 9 Eyelet boot is very rugged, premium and stays in line with Timberland’s sensibilities. Even though this silhouette is a small departure from their traditional styling they still managed to infuse it with the Timberland DNA.
I like the intimidating factor of this boot, that’s why I decided to shoot it at night. I removed the first set of laces and I kept it in its original form. Small details like the Anti-Fatigue quilted lining made of recycled soda bottles and the slightly padded collar makes me a fan.
Timberland’s goal with the Newmarket collection is to give consumers a connection trough footwear that is inspired from their archives but updated with modern details.
Look out for artwork from Adam Haynes promoting this collection. I will post some of the work sometime this week.

I ordered mine today. I am getting the maple color since I have the polo ranger boot in black I felt they looked too much the same. Now all I need is for YOU to show some pics of how to rock them properly
I bought the black (shoemall, look for coupons) and I’ve forgotten how to lace them properly. There’s a youtube video w/a dutch guy but I’m not going for the “Das EFX” look.
