Footwear: Converse x John Varvatos Bosey Boot Spring 09

I’m got the high bosey boots and I ave to say that I love them! They released a this pair for the spring in canvas, which I think is very fresh. I like the fact that they already look dirty.

Are these the same shoes seen on the two page add for Converse (John Varvatos) in March’s 2009 issue of GQ. Which shows a guy sitting on a chair next to speakers wearing a black hat, striped shirt, and jacket . These shoes appear to be suede uppers? Is that not so. Where are you able to purchase these shoes. To date (2/26/09) I can’t find them anywhere.

OK just so happens I’m about to buy a pair of John Varvatos shoes from Converse. This exact pair goes for 63 bucks at Gilt but retails at 150? I’m about to order these leather boots from Gilt.
