Footwear: Tsubo Wexler Spring 2011
My homegirls Samantha & Anita from & room 722 sent me over a little package with a hand written note. I had to double check the note to confirm that it was not printed…the writing was kind of perfect.
They sent me over the newest pair of TSUBO Wexler’s.
The shoes look really good and I am really feeling the silhouette, a nice twist to the classic oxford.
I kept hearing how comfortable these were so I tried them on immediately and wow.
Thanks guys for the love! The size is perfect.

Tsubo footwear understands the critical importance of a good fitting shoe and quality craftsmanship, they’ve honed their skills as designers and craftsmen to create, The Wexler. The revolutionary shoe is built on a sports platform, yet honors the construction of a traditional oxford, fusing their beliefs in form + function with art +craft.
The true beauty of The Wexler is not only seen but felt. The premium ergonomic dual-density polyurethane foot beds from their well known sports collection was incorporated into The Wexler, creating a dress shoe that feels like no other. On the exterior, the Wexler is crafted with premium top grain leather upper, which is hand finished to bring out depth and color of the leather, accented with timeless brogue details.
Tsubo also used the traditional process of Blake stitching the rubber and leather outsole components together for uncompromised durability. The 3D spacer mesh which traditionally is found on the exterior of sport sneakers has been repurposed to line the interior, creating a channel of airflow between your foot and the soft leather, while the padded heel counter keeps you locked in and snug.
Tsubo challenged themselves to evolve tradition by fusing heritage with technology, leading them to a unique subtractive process of milling out leather and inlaying rubber outsole pods to create an outsole that feels more like a sneaker than a dress shoe.
