    • Footwear: Timberland Earthkeepers City 6 inch Bionic Canvas

    My friends over at Timberland sent me their latest Spring 2011 product called the Timberland Earthkeepers City 6″ inch in Bioconic Canvas.

    These seem pretty special by the packaging and paperwork…

    Bionic canvas is created from Bionic yarn (from return textiles, a company co-owned by musician/producer Pharrell Williams, it’s made from 50% organic cotton wrapped around a 38% recycled PET and 12% HT polyester core. Bionic Yarn is 30% stronger and twice as abrasion-resistant as traditional cotton yarn. Timberland is the first footwear brand to use Bionic canvas, and it will be featured in more than 80 spring styles.

    These Earthkeepers are really fresh, I love the zip on the boots, they’ve used green rubber, 42% recycled outsoles, a 100% recycled PET lining, and ion-mask technology by P2i, a revolutionary new water and stain repelling process.

    The tote bag is made from BIONIC canvas and it is not available in any store.
