For this collaboration, the brands created two exclusive styles – the Wilde Canvas Derby Shoes and the Williams Suede Derby Shoes. These pieces are handmade at the Grenson factory, the shoes use the traditional Goodyear Welted construction and feature distinctive details like bespoke colours and trims. Which are then finished off with handwritten detailing of the shoes in the lining of each pair.
The first Wilde Canvas Derby is created from Olive green cotton canvas bonded around the quarters in a copper shade petersham to finish the edges. The style features a full leather lining that sits on a solid rubber ribbed sole, and is finished with copper eyelets – a signature Private White V.C. touch.
Secondly, the Williams Suede Derby Shoe is made from the highest quality English suede that has been perforated throughout. The lightweight shoe has a ‘skeleton’ lining, allowing the holes to function as genuine ventilation. The Williams shoe has matching solid suede facings, sits on a lightweight rubber Vibram Gumlite sole, and comes in two shades: Snuff and Mushroom.
