Footwear: Oak Street Bootmakers Navy Hunt Boot @OakStBootmakers

Ever since he learned the craft of shoemaking from his father, founder of Oak Street Bootmakers – George Vlagos, has been preserving the heritage of fine shoemaking through thoughtfully designed and attentively crafted shoes.

Oak Street shoes and boots are constructed from renowned Horween Chromexcel leather, which is a soft, supple and durable leather. Further, to ensure a lifetime of wear, the outsoles of each pair is replaceable, a unique feature normally reserved for formal footwear.

The Navy Hunt boot is assembled by a hand-stitched moccasin construction and sits atop a vibram sole and form-fitting inner, which provides comfort. It is finished off with waxed stitching and rawhide laces.

Suggested fits for the boots go as follows, true to size if worn with normal or thick socks but for thin or no socks, size-down one half size.
