    Rockport_-2 Rockport_ Rockport_-3 Rockport_-4 Rockport_-5When I prepare for my day, the first thing I check for is the weather and my schedule, that way I know exactly what to wear so that I can look and be prepared for what my day brings. Spring is an interesting season because it feels like autumn and you can still layer a bit.

    Two things that I always carry with me, besides my wallet and keys, are my iPhone and my MacBook – I’m always connected. I always like reading the local newspaper because it keeps in touch with my city and besides reading print never gets old.

    A typical day for me begins with a stroll to the Joys of Living juice shop that is a few blocks away from my place. It’s important for me to remain on top of things and their juices really keep me going throughout the day. Afterwards, I head to the office and work on my upcoming projects.

    Today, it’s raining out and it’s a bit cold outside, so out comes my trench coat, which I layered with a button up shirt and tie, while the jeans are a raw denim made locally here in Montreal. When it comes to the shoes, it’s important that they are comfortable and look great. To add a touch of formality I put on Rockport’s Brogues. Not only is the slim silhouette handsome but also the Adiprene by adidas and the EVA footbed offers all day comfort.

    As always, fashion and function is what I strive for when it comes to my personal style. Whether I’m expecting to travel, be at meetings, or on my feet the whole day, I know that I’ll be comfortable doing it.
