  • Footwear: Club Monaco x Mark McNairy Fall 13 Makers & Muses

I am very excited for this collaboration. The product looks great and I am  a huge fan of CM & MM respectively. You can read more about the collection below. I just wanted to highlight some of my favorite pieces.

As part of Club Monaco’s Makers and Muses series this month, designer Mark McNairy joins the ranks of past Makers including Rancourt & Co., Ernest Alexander, Wood & Faulk and Terrapin Stationers. McNairy has collaborated with the brand on nine of his most iconic shoes, currently available in select Club Monaco stores and online. The collection encompasses a variety of shoes, including suede tassel loafers in rich hues, army green suede derbys, tan slim chukka boots and a suede cap toe boot that will be perfect for the coming winter season.

Club Monaco’s Makers & Muses profiles were established to highlight the creative talents that the Club Monaco team admires most. Each month brings a new Maker into focus with an exclusive behind-the scenes look at the process and provenance that goes into each of Club Monaco’s product partnerships. This month, Mark McNairy joins the ranks of past Makers including Rancourt & Co., Ernest Alexander, Wood & Faulk and Terrapin Stationers.

With a cult following of fashion-forward men, Mark McNairy has become a favorite in contemporary American footwear by mixing American and English tradition with a dedication to craftsmanship. Though he got his start in fashion designing for traditional American brands like J.Press, McNairy’s solo foray into the menswear scene came in 2008 with the debut of his irreverent footwear line, Mark McNairy New Amsterdam. The collection is comprised of classic men’s shoes spiked with a decidedly modern edge.

The collection will be available in 7 Club Monaco locations in North America, as well as online at
