Footwear: Clarks Originals – Desert Boot
A couple weeks ago I was in NYC and my homie Ronnie Fieg gave me a pair of his latest collaboration with Clarks. These Clarks Desert Boots are really something to talk about, they are a beautiful matte black in nubuck. These are extremely lovely so they got their time to shine this past weekend at my local barbershop. These are available as we speak at davidz.com
Growing up in the West Indian community of Montreal the Clarks Dessert Boot was the uniform and a staple piece for the distinguish gentleman, Rude boy and Rastafarian. Back then they were made in England and I guess they were a bit aspirational for these young men. My father told me stories about his brothers doing anything to get a pair of Clarks Dessert boots. They were just too expensive at the time for their parents to buy.
This is for you uncles! I will wear these with pride Roots and Culture!
Thanks to Ronnie Fieg for taking care of the kid.
