    JC-Oysterfest-2Every year Montreal’s Oysterfest is gets bigger, so big that it has moved from the Old Port of Montreal to the Peel Basin! They are also expecting roughly 8,000 people to attend! The events are set for August 289th and 30th. The organization held a special news conference detailing a few things attendees should expect!

    The event was held at Notkins restaurant, where founder of Oysterfest, Daniel Notkins, spoke on the competitions like, So You Think You Can Drink mixology and the Montreal Chefs Classic Plating, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

    Moreover, the official poster was unveiled, along with the expanded partnership with the World Wildlife Fund Of Canada, and their new relationship with the Marine Stewardship Council. They are really pushing the envelope in terms of ocean sustainability and preservation.

    When: Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th.

    Where: Peel Basin (1057 rue de la Commune Ouest)

    Time: Saturday, 12pm to 6 pm and Sunday, 12pm to 10pm

    Admission: Saturday is free admission and is Sunday $40 general admission + 2 Oysterfest coupons or $70 for general admission + 10 Oysterfest coupons.
