I like it but I don’t….
I’m always interested in understanding where the artist developed their concepts..
I’ve come to realize, its best to know what part of the artists heart a vision came from, then to assume and create my own concept of a design or piece…
Because looking at this, my first impression is:
Branded Negro Child.
Now… Isn’t that exactly what we are today? Black, poor, walking billboards….
Interesting…
I like the original print 100x better- really not feeling this piece
