    Two of the most recognized brands in Italy, Emporio Armani and Piaggio, have collaborated to manufacture a truly one of a kind Vespa, called the Vespa 946. The name alludes to the year 1946, which was the year this scooter was first made. Further, both brands are in the midst of celebrating their anniversaries, it’s the 40th for the Armani and the 130th for Piaggio.

    This special version is designed by Emporio Armani and showcases the brand’s signature subdued colour palette that is accented a striking combination of greys and hits of green. The metal parts are galvanized showcase a satin finish, while ‘Emporio Armani’ appear on the side with the iconic eagle logo is placed above the headlight.

    There is an emphasis on technology as much as there is in style in the Vespa 946, as its built with aluminium cylinder blocks, fuel-efficient four-stroke electronic injection engine, 220 mm double disc brake, two-channel ABS braking system, and electronic riding controls. Finally, large 12 inch wheels guarantee safety and stability on the road.

    The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani will be produced in limited numbers and will go on sale in June.
