Converse’s Chuck Taylor All Star II is the footwear brand’s most contemporary shoe to date. This is thanks to features like a Nike Lunarlon sockliner, nonslip padded tongue, and ultra soft micro-suede lining. So it makes sense that it is the subject of experimentation with newer materials. The latest comes in the form of a knit collection, which sees the upper constructed from a texturized and tightly woven fabric. Moreover, in the spirit of the season, the colours were inspired by the illuminating kaleidoscopic light shows found at music festivals and summer parties. The new collection is expressed in a Volt Green, Black, Yellow, Roadtrip Blue, Red, White, and Spray Paint Blue. You can pick up a pair in North American Converse stores, Foot Locker and online.

$80-85.
