Converse and Hancock Vulcanised Articles have collaborated for a second time to create the all-new Converse Jack Purcell x Hancock Wetland sneaker.

Hancock Vulcanised Articles (HVA) is a modern luxury lifestyle label that offers contemporary rubber bonded outerwear, crafted using original techniques that date back to the 19th century. All pieces are hand-cut with shears, and seams are bonded manually with a secret traditional glue recipe.

Built with weather protection in mind, the sneaker’s upper is partially covered with a rubber in Hancock’s signature Mastic Grey colour – the piece ensures water-repellence. With the added benefit of a dual layer vulcanized textile for further weather protection, the upper is designed to help brave the elements. Another cool feature is the subtle zipper closure that allows for customizable wear.

The sneaker will be available December 12th at Converse stores in New York City, San Francisco and Santa Monica, as well as Kith in New York and Tenue de Nimes in Amsterdam.
